Our Process for Claims
- We will send you the relevant paperwork, which you can check, complete, sign and return to us.
- Our Case handlers will assess the information you have provided FREE OF CHARGE and then prepare your case and liaise with the Financial Institute.
- We will continue to communicate with the Financial Institutes and you, to gain any additional information they may require, to assist them in making an informed final decision.
- We will update you with any responses we receive from the lenders but you can also contact your case handler to provide more supporting evidence or regarding any questions you may have.
- If your case is rejected we can appeal this decision and escalate the matter further to the Financial Ombudsman Service, with any additional evidence to support your case.
- The FCA guidelines state that the lenders need to provide a final decision within 8 weeks. However, some cases can be concluded quicker and other more complex cases, for example those referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service, can take around two years to reach a final decision.
